We are witnessing the greatest history story right before
our own eyes and so people especially those in ministry are still blinded by the enemy, because they choose not to see the
Bible prophecies fulfilling itself, right in our own backyard. One of the ministers
in Africa
wrote me the day after Senator Barack Obama was elected as our 1st African
American President, about the prophecy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. being fulfilled,
in his speech “I have a Dream.” The
late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. envisioned a day where there would be no segregation so that black and white children would
be able to attend the same schools without racial prejudice, that minorities would be treated with respect in the public and
private sectors, and that all men and women regardless of race or gender would truly be equals. The Civil Rights Movement was more than just a march to solve discrimination in public transportation,
housing and employment. It was a Movement for the people, and by the people,
to make us aware of the injustices that were taking place in these United
States of America.

History is in the making right before our very
eyes, and like the “Rapture of the saints” some people, including Christians are going to miss it! I believe God wants us to open our eyes and our hearts! As
we become a United Nation, we must re-evaluate our priorities and change is inevitable in order for us to be successful. We must return back to our moral and ethnical values that this Nation was founded
and built upon. “One nation, under God.”’
Deut 4:1 Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do
them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God
of your fathers giveth you.
4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
4:3 Your eyes have seen what the LORD did because of Baalpeor: for all the men that followed Baalpeor, the
LORD thy God hath destroyed them from among you.
4:4 But ye that did cleave unto the LORD your God are alive
every one of you this day.
4:5 Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should
do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.
4:6 Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and
say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.
4:7 For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?
4:8 And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes
and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?
4:9 Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have
seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;
4:10 Specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy
God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may
learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that
they may teach their children. KJV
My daughter wants to go to the Inaugural Ball in Washington D.C., she is
more excited about pursuing her law degree and finishing school since the election, and she isn’t the only one. The possibilities for us and all minorities with the election of Senator Barack Obama
are staggering! Hope has been restored not only to a Nation, but to a people!

I am excited because 2009 is going to be a year of “Unlimited Possibilities”. President
Elect, Senator Barack’s motto is “Yes, we can!” My 2009
motto is Yes, I can! Based on Phil. 4:13 “I can do all things, through Christ
who strengthen me.” Yes, I can!
And when two or three are gathered together in His Name, Yes, We Can! I
can put a thousand to flight just by myself, the Word says, two can put ten thousand to flight! No wonder the enemy is out to destroy relationships; they are important factor in overcoming the enemy
and all his devices.
This is the land that the Lord has given
to us, it is where we live and play. It is a land flowing with milk and honey
just like Canaan, the Promised Land to the children of Israel in the Bible. People come to the United States
from many countries because they have a dream for themselves and their families. Our country is a land of “Unlimited Possibilities” of which we that
live here take for granted. With this election the hopes and dreams of many people,
including minorities are being restored, people are excited because they can feel a change is coming! We are a nation that is evolving!
There are so many opportunities because
we live in the land of the free and the home of the brave which was brilliantly written in our National Anthem “The Stars Bangle Banner.
